Australian Midget Car Champion Nathan Smee is back again this Saturday night (Dec 7) at Supercheap Auto Archerfield Speedway as Round 5 of the POWRi Australian Midget Super Series rolls into town. Smee has won both of his last two starts here and will aim to make it three wins in a row.
The stars will fly at the Supercheap Auto Archerfield Speedway next Saturday night, December 7 for the next round of the Midget Super Series. Not only will there be plenty of on track action but three former midget greats will be honoured for their contribution to the sport. Blair Shepherd, Bob Morgan and Ron Wanless ( Who will be represented by SSS Director Ken Jenkins ) will be on hand to witness the modern day gladiators of speed and be introduced to the large crowd expected to be in attendance
In breaking news, Event Director, Ken Jenkins, has announced that round five of the 2013-2014 POWRi Australian Speedcar Super Series will be televised on the Speed Channel screening nationally on Foxtel and Austar.

So close to a result yet so far; only the AMCA, V8 Dirt Modified and the Midget Car Features remained on the schedule at Supercheap Auto Archerfield Speedway when the super-sized drops started to fall at 8pm. Promoters made every effort to achieve a result for Round 3 of the Polar Ice Midget Car Series, speeding through the program, but the super-cell that stretched hundreds of kilometres, engulfed the region; quite literally a wall of water.
