Returning to the scene of his Queensland Championship victory two weeks earlier, Adam Clarke again proved unstoppable at Supercheap Auto Archerfield Speedway last night (Saturday, May 18), winning the American Tire and Racing Services Midget 50 Lapper on a cold Brisbane night. Clarke took over the front running when Brendan Palmer headed infield and then survived a late-race restart and a mistake in the final corner to score a narrow win over Michael Kendall and West Aussie Dayne Kingshott.

The mighty Midgets take centre stage this Saturday night (May 18) at Supercheap Auto Archerfield Speedway when drivers from across Australia gather for their annual 50-lap showdown. A star-studded field of drivers have entered for the marathon event, including no less than three competitors making the long haul from Western Australia to take part. More than 30 drivers will vie for a berth in the feature event, with recent Queensland Championship winner Adam Clarke headlining the field.
